Can my employer where I also use gmail, gain access to my private gmail password when it issaved?
Every time I log out of my university email, my private email which is also gmail, comes up with the remembered password there (but encrypted, not showing the letters/numbers). Can the university gain access through this to my private email password and account? I use Firefox for the university browsing and email as this was what was recommended by them to use. Many thanks!

The university legally has access to your email and can open it at any time if you sign into it on their wifi. If you dont i dont believe they do.

Yes, i know. They can gain access to your personal email as well even if you only log in once on their wifi. But if you log in somewhere else then go to the University with that computer and never log in there (Even if your password is saved) they dont have access.
I hope that helped. (Also notice i'm amusing this is your laptop that your using in the University and elsewhere)
