Can't open PDF attachments since upgrading to Acrobat Reader DC
I was recently prompted to upgrade my Adobe Reader to the latest version: Adobe Reader DC. Since doing that I can no longer open PDF attachments to received emails. I wish I had not upgraded Adobe Reader - last time I did I also had problems and had to uninstall the update and re-install an earlier version.
Has anyone else had this problem?
I have attached a screen snip to illustrate what happens when I either double click on the attachment or right click and select "Open".
Many thanks, James.

Check that Thunderbird knows the correct program to use. Tools > Options > Attachments > Incoming tab
Content type: Adobe Acrobat Document To the right will be the action - click on the action to see a drop down. See if there is a specific mention of using 'Adobe Reader DC'. I know 'use Adobe Reader' is used for versions prior to Adobe Reader DC.
click on 'Use Other' to see a more extensive list of options. If you still cannot locate, click on 'browse' then you can locate the specific adobe dc *.exe file and click on Open click on all 'OK' s.
Retest opening a pdf document.

Thank you very much for the advice - it worked! ... and next time something like that happens after an upgrade I will know what to do.
Many thank, James.
PS: How do I mark this problem "Solved"?
