I was using windows security essentials and it found a trojan and told me in order to complete the removal the program would have to restart. I let it restart without closing my tabs that were open on firefox thinking that they would be recovered when the computer restarted like normal. However when it restarted it showed me there was a mozilla crash reporter. I chose to 'restart firefox' but when i click that option, the same dialogue opens again. So I click restart firefox and again it opens up another crash reporter. This happened multiple times, so i deleted all the boxes it made and tried clicking 'quit firefox'. That closed the box but didn't fix any problem. I ran another virus scan and it came out clean so i did a quick restart hoping this would fix the problem. However its continuing to say that it crashed and keeps opening up a new box every time i click restart firefox. I tried to follow the instructions here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-crashes-troubleshoot-prevent-and-get-help However there were no files in the 'submitted' folder. I backtracked and saw there was a pending folder, clicked that and low and behold there were a ton of files from today.

Here is a picture of the files that showed when I searched in the pending folder. It wouldnt load earlier with the original post for some reason.
