When I send an email it shows my I.D. (AA550) as well as my email address. How do I remove the email address from the send email so other people don't see it?

Thank you, Alex

Legitimate email tells the sender where it came from. I would imagine that a return path is required for replies, read receipts and non-delivery notifications.

Spammers work around this by using stolen addresses in the "From:" field.

Why would you not want your correspondents to know your email address?

I have no idea what your so-called "ID" is. How would that be of use to your correspondents?

Most of the people I send email to already know my email address. No need to have it listed in the from box when they receive it. That is why I want to remove it.

I think the issue here is I don't want to show my email at all, to anyone. Just the AA550 I.D.

I thought about it and I see your point. Thanks
