I am having a re-occuring issue where I'm getting an error message that my sent emails won't save to my sent folder. I have 3 email accounts and am only having this issue with my blue host email account and not my gmail accounts. I have tried all the solutions online including those listed on this thread: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/988032 (repairing sent folder, compacting, etc.)

Please help I have been using thunderbird for years and if this problem can't be fixed I'll have to use a different client.

FYI I am using IMAP

Thunderbird sends the e-mail to the SMTP server, which sends the e-mail on its way. Then Thunderbird sends the e-mail to the IMAP server, asking for it to be saved to the Sent folder. The IMAP server is having a problem doing that.

Try logging into your webmail and run Thunderbird at the same time. Send an e-mail using Thunderbird, then look to see if that e-mail shows up in the Sent folder in webmail.

Also, double check the e-mail server settings in Thunderbird to what your e-mail provider says they should be. Sometimes the e-mail provider changes things.

Another thing that can be tried, is creating a new Thunderbird Profile to test with that e-mail address, and see if it works better in the new profile. Profile Manager I can provide more/better instructions for this if you want.
