Why are the addressbooks on my secondary PC empty although I can send/receive mails via the server, where all addressbooks are available.
I have Thunderbird (v 52.4.0 - 32-bit) installed on 2 PCs, the one nearest to the cable-modem (running WIN 7 ultimate 64Bit for about 2 years now) acts as an email-server for the second PC. As long as I had XP pro on the second PC there were no troubles whatsoever with getting & sending mails on the XP-machine. There, three weeks ago, I changed the system from XP to Win7 ult. 64 and installed Thunderbird 52.4.0 using the profile from the server. That has functioned under XP without any problems. Now I can get and send mails and have all functions like folders and rules active, but I no longer have access to the addressbooks on the server computer. The addressbooks on the second PC are empty (but for the few mails I have got and sent). So, how can I get the addressbooks from the server to again run on my second computer? Thanks in advance. Peter

So what are you using for the server on the first PC?
Both machines run the same system - Win7 ultimate 64bit and the latest Thunderbird v 52.4.0 - 32-bit.
