Combined inbox displays duplicate emails from outlook.com
Please could someone help me solve a problem I’m having with duplicate emails.
I have 6 email accounts setup in Thunderbird, all with different email providers so I generally always view the combined inbox.
One of my email accounts is a free one with @outlook.com. Whenever I receive new mail on that account the combined inbox displays those emails twice as if I’ve received two copies. When I look at the inbox just for my outlook account on its own there is only one copy shown but when I go back to the combined inbox again it is again showing two copies.
This only happenes with my outlook account. New mail from my other email accounts all show just one copy of each in the combined view.
I tried right clicking the outlook inbox and running the ‘repair folder’ option from the properties dialogue but that didn’t help.
If I go to the outlook inbox and delete the email then go back to the combined inbox only one copy has disappeared but the second copy is still there.
Can anyone suggest what I can do to fix this?
Thanks in advance for any ideas anyone can offer.

Which do you mean by "combined inbox"? Are these POP-connected accounts using the Local Folders/Global Inbox, or is this Unified Folders view?

Yes, I mean Thunderbird’s ‘unified folders’ view.
Unfortunately my screenshot won’t upload.
The email accounts are a mix of POP3 and IMAP accounts from outlook, gmail, yahoo, my ISP account and a domain POP3 account.
