I installed an 2018/9 copy of Bitdefender Total Security recently, and used their Utility section to tidy up files on my pc. The Utility listed Thunderbird items to delete( I don't know what was listed as I didn't take a note), which I then deleted. The Utility program then deleted all my inbox emails. Bitdefender emailed to say that I could use RECUVA to retrieve the deleted emails. I installed RECUVA, ran the program, and a Thunderbird emails.zip file.

Where do I copy this zip file within Thunderbird to see if these are the deleted emails?

Create folder on desktop call it eg: TBrecover Put zip file in that folder and then unzip the file to see contents. Post an image of what you see when the zip file is unzipped.
