Firefox keeps crashing on startup. I click on the icon in the Windows menu, there's a pause, then I see the crash reporter. When I click submit, the same thing happens. I started my portable app version of Firefox to get this submitted. I'm not sure the version of the Firefox that keeps crashing, but I've got auto updates set, so it should be quite recent.

This has been happening for a few days.

I've got the latest .dmp and .extra files, but not sure if I should try attaching them where it says "Add images:"

I just noticed the "Troubleshooting Information:" section. Not sure what will be accurate since I'm using a portable version of Firefox, not the one that keeps crashing.

Hi there. Let's see what we can do to help.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

While still in Safe Mode,

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>.

Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 Submitted crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.
