restore multiple tabs from a previous, but not last, session
How to restore many tabs from the session before the last session?
Windows 10, Firefox 89.0
If there is more than one window open: Window A has many tabs; Window B has one tab; then when I close Firefox, the other window remains open. If window A is closed first, then closing window B means that firefox will restore the tabs of window B because it was the previous session.
How can I recover the many tabs from Window A?
Can I retrieve a list from history and reopen many at once?
Can I reload the appropriate "previous.jsonlz4" which is the next previous file?
Is there a reliable add-on that can remember open tabs?

That is stored in the sessionstore [v56] sessionstore.jsonlz4 file(s).
Type about:support<enter> in the address bar.
Under the page logo on the left side, you will see Application Basics. Under this find Profile Folder. To its right press the button Show Folder. This will open your file browser to the current Firefox profile. Now Close Firefox.
Windows: Show Folder; Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder
Linux: Under the page logo on the left side, you will see Application Basics. Under this find Profile Directory. To its right press the button Open Directory.
Locate the above file.
Don't delete the files if you need to rescue any data from them, just move them out of the profile folder to some location where Firefox doesn't look for them. You can try to read out their contents using this tool: https://www.jeffersonscher.com/res/scrounger.html
The restore tab has now gone. I looked at the above and it doesn't help. It would seem the restore button has has been removed in version 94.0.1
Press Alt or F10 to bring up the toolbar. Then History > Restore Previous Session.
