Firefox opens google search result links in a new tab as "https://www.google.com/url?sa=..." and nothing in inspector
I am here because I am having an issue with google search and gmail. This is a continuation of two previous, archived posts: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1346146 and https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1357041
I have tried everything from windows uninstalls, program uninstalls, clearing cahce, nuking all addons, clearing history, changing network settings, starting in troubleshooting mode and nothing changes it.
I middle mouse click on a site in google search to open in a new tab and it does...but all it does is open that tab with the google search redirect link in the URL and the back, forward, and reload buttons grayed out. Nothing in inspect element either. At least in google search, after opening the link, when you go back and do it again it works fine. In Gmail (HTML Gmail at least, that's what I use), every single last email subject I open in a new tab to read the whole email fails spectatuclarly. And god forbid you want to click the sender name to see previous email replies...because this happens too with every reply. And now after clearing my google site history, I'm signed out of google services and can't sign back in because of this on my desktop. Help!!!

This "www.google'.com/url?" link is a redirect link that Google allows to perform a safe-browsing scan. If such a link isn't working then it might be blocked or corrupted by (security) software or by an extension.
