Missing minimize and restore buttons on tabbar in Kubuntu 24.10

Hello

Recently I've upgraded from Kubuntu 24.04 to 24.10. I'm almost sure that the minimize/restore buttons were available in my Firefox after the system upgrade. For the last few days I can see they are missing - please see attached images.

I can partly fix the problem by going to Settings->More tools -> Customize toolbar and selecting "Title Bar" checkbox. In that case I have the title bar displayed with all 3 button (minimize, restore, close).

But I would like to have the default behavior: title bar is turned off and the mentioned 3 buttons be visible in the tab bar.

How to have those buttons in the tab bar when the title bar is turned off?

Today morning I opened again Kubuntu version of Firefox. This time it started to have the buttons - they look different from the Mozilla version but they are. Strange, but it also means that it is a problem of Kubuntu version of Firefox, not Mozilla version. And - it behaves the same also in X11.

I will mark this topic as solved with suggestion to use Mozilla version of Firefox if someone happens to have the same problem in the future.

It looks the problem is with Firefox shipped by default by Kubuntu - the snap version. I've downloaded it from Mozilla page as tar.bz package, extracted and this version has normal maximize/minimize/close buttons on the tabbar. I will start using this version instead of snap version.

If no further questions, mark as resolved and also test in X11. I run both and more as a back for my data with sync in case one goes boom. see old screenshot
