Foxfire keeps getting challange questions after they have been asked and register this computer is checked
Every time I log on to one website, I get challenge questions asked even after checking a box to register this computer. I have no problems with Explorer on the same web site. It seems like Foxfire is not saving my settings for this bank website. Thanks to anyone who can help

Are you clearing your cookies when Firefox closes? Or with an external program?
If not, maybe that cookie is corrupt and isn't recognized bu that website. Try clearing that cookie or all the cookies for that domain.
- Such details are stored in a cookie.
- Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.
- You need an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep that cookie, especially for secure websites and if you let cookies expire when Firefox closes
- Make sure that you do not use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences"
Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and password exceptions.

There are other things that need attention:
Your above posted system details show outdated plugin(s) with known security and stability risks that you should update.
- Shockwave Flash 10.1 r85
- Java Plug-in 1.6.0_05 for Netscape Navigator (DLL Helper)
Update the Flash plugin to the latest version.
Update the Java plugin to the latest version.

DL Java runtime for Windows and the Flash player. All Settings are to keep cookies for 90 days and I have not cleared history. Trend Micro Anti Virus runs every so often an deletes cookis
Problem still happens however
Quote: All Settings are to keep cookies for 90 days
That is a history setting and not a cookie setting.
Cookies settings appear further down: "Keep Cookies ...."
Quote: Trend Micro Anti Virus runs every so often an deletes cookis
If another program removes cookies then you will have to repeat the steps to create new cookies by answering the challenging question(s).
It is better to let all cookies expire if you close Firefox and create an allow exception for cookies that you want to keep.
Cookies are left open for 90 days and the history stays open, Trend Micro clears some of the cookies when it runs. THX
If Trend Micro remove the cookies from that website then you will have to repeat answering the challenging question(s) as I wrote above. It is best to disable that setting in Trend Micro to clear cookies. If Trend Micro isn't doing it properly and the file cookies.sqlite gets corrupted then Firefox will make a new file and clear all cookies.
