I have them backed up to my desktop.I'm having trouble getting them to the new computer.I tried to e-mail them and sending them to a usb flash drive and neither worked. What else can I try ? Thank you....Bob.
-> When you Export Bookmarks through HTML, save it on the Desktop of your Old Computer. When its done, Close Firefox and all other applications. You got two choices:
1) Copy the Saved HTML file from your Old Computer to your USB Flash Drive and Remove the USB Flash Drive. Insert the USB in your New Computer and Copy the HTML file on your New Computer's Desktop.
2) Attach and Email the Saved HTML file to yourself from your Old Computer. Now Log-Off your email account from the Old Computer. Check your Email Inbox in the New Computer, Download and Save the HTML file on the Desktop of your New Computer and Log-Off your Email account.
-> Now Open Firefox in your New Computer and Import the HTML file using the process mentioned in the Import HTML file article i posted earlier.
Check and tell if its working.
How did you backup the bookmarks?
Did you create an HTML backup or a JSON backup?
- Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Backup
- Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Export HTML
