I can't go to most websites as it redirects me to http://cdn.adsbarscript.com/links/flash/?newads. How do I get rid of this. Malware, spyware and virus scanner all find nothing.

Hello,

I think you are correct that some malware is causing the problem.

I'm not sure what scanners you have used but I suggest trying the following ones which work with your existing antivirus software:

I've had particular success with HitManPro. Often standard anti-virus software will not remove these kinds of programs because the user has supposedly "given consent" to the installation of the application. Most likely it is hidden within the installation of another application.

As well as running the scans you should try to check through the installed applications on your computer and uninstall any that you think might be related.

Also please remove any Firefox add-ons that you did not install yourself or which you think might be related: Disable or remove Add-ons.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

I hope this helps. Let me know if not.

I had already uninstalled anything that I thought could be the cause. And currently I have installed a firefox plugin that blocks java and flash. This has solved the issue, however now I can't watch videos or play games and things. -.- I did it so I could try to find an answer to this problem. I used norton eraser, and it worked for a short time, then started back up again. I will try the programs you have suggested.
