Reading some sites, the site attempts to run something from adsafeprotect.com . The script supplied by that site apparently doesn't work in Firefox. This makes Firefox nearly unusable. I don't think that this is a Firefox problem as such, but I can't figure out a work-around.

The HTTPS Everywhere project maintains a list of rewrite rules (https://www.eff.org/https-everywhere/atlas/domains/adsafeprotected.com.html).
