When I install Greasemonkey. Firefox will not load. The process does, but the actual program doesn't show. Even with no scripts installed. I have Aurora
It was working fine until some point I am not sure what happened.
I been OCing stuff lately so not sure if that has something to do with it. But I have latest Aurora and Greasemonkey, and for some reason the process loads, but not the program. It doesn't display at all.
I had no idea what was causing it and kinda started removing one by one and found out which it was.
I even tried removing all the scripts but that didn't work.
Tampermonkey works fine with Chrome atm. So I do not understand. I have pretty much the same scripts installed.
For any possible information would help. I tried asking about greasemonkey but nothing from that atm. My problem seems kinda unique so I am posting here to possibly find this out. It bothers me not using my scripts I like.

Could be this:
Firefox Nightly invisible w/ Greasemonkey 1.13 beta 5 & 6
https://github.com/greasemonkey/greasemonkey/issues/1833
Recommends:
Please try 1.14beta1 if this is still happening for you: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/versions/
Does that work?

Creating a new profile I was able to launch it after installing Greasemonkey, but not sure how to load up the same scripts I had yet. I tried putting them into the same folder but that seems to not be enough.
Yes now Greasemonkey and Firefox works.
Not sure how to readd the scripts I copied out before though yet. I can do the long process and reinstall each one I suppose. Thanks for getting it to work. Did not see that solution before.
Greasemonkey has a file which has metadata on your installed scripts. I remember looking at it once when there was a controversy about updates, but I don't know how to mine it for data.
What happens if you exit Firefox and startup in your old profile and install GM 1.14 beta? Does that rescue your original setup?
You could try the Windows "previous versions" feature on gm_scripts\config.xml
First make a copy of the existing file in a safe place.
Then right-click > Properties > Previous Versions
Exactly when Windows 7 creates shadow copies is a mystery to me, but you might be able to roll back (or copy out) a recent enough version to at least be able to view the old list.
Yes. The problem now seems solved. Thanks for the help and the extra info on the scripts.
