Hi,
Can you please provide the crash report ID?
If you can open Firefox, try:
- Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
- Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and paste them into your response here.
Thank you for your help!
If Firefox crashes when you open it, try the following:
- Press the following shortcut to get a Run window: [Windows] + [R]. This should bring up a window that contains a text field.
- In that text field, enter %APPDATA% and press Enter. An explorer window should open.
- From that explorer window, double-click on the Mozilla folder, then double-click on Firefox and then on Crash reports. Double-click on submitted.
- Now, you should see a list of files that contain reports. Go to View > Arrange Icons by > Modified to get the most recent files at the top of the window.
- Open the most recent 5 files with a text editor and copy the IDs.
- Paste each ID with bp- into the reply window on the forums.
Thanks in advance!
recent Report IDs is here.

https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/repor.../0703d2f6-9137-4934-882b-126042140322 This one crashed because one of the css rules being rendered did not have a description remark for the log? And I keep looking at the plethora of bugs and honestly cannot find a root cause.
The only common signature I can find is that they all have the same graphics card:
webglRenderer: Google Inc. -- ANGLE (NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 Direct3D9Ex vs_3_0 ps_3_0)
and that its either during a pdf or while they are on facebook playing a game.
- Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems
- Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL
maybe its a corrupt cookie?

I upgraded my graphics drivers.
I was also dealing with the following. >Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problemsTroubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems
This doesn't solve my problem.
This also just started about a week ago for me. Firefox just crashes out of no where. Nothing that I saw happens no web site's no updated add on. Havn't done a test to see if it does it in safe mode yet tho.
Hi Furydeath, Can you please start a new thread with the crash reports you are seeing? The more we know about the crash the better :-)
If the above information does not resolve your issue, please consider creating a new thread containing the specific details of your issue.
Doing so will allow the Mozilla volunteers to give you solutions that are more helpful to you. This may help them to solve your problem faster and more efficiently.
Please, feel free to post the link to your thread on this thread for volunteers interested in assisting you.
Thank you.
Hi kyounoii,
Hopefully my answer yields some fixing. I just noticed that you have user.js is currently active in Firefox. The user.js file is only present if you or other software has created this file and normally it wouldn't be there.
You can delete a possible user.js file and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename (or delete) the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in the current Firefox release. You can get to the profile folder below:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory > Show Folder
or
- Go to about:support and click Show Folder next to Profile Directory.
Going through your crash reports, there's some I don't understand, but two of them have the EnterBaseline with the crashing thread source in js/src/jit/BaselineJIT.cpp . Long story short, try disabling JIT.
Here's some more info about the JIT (Baseline Compiler)
Set javascript.options.baselinejit to false in about:config:
- Navigate to about:config in your Address Bar
- Press the "I'll be careful, I promise!" button to proceed
- Search for javascript.options.baselinejit and set it to false by right clicking the pref and selecting Toggle.
- Restart Firefox and see if it works properly.
