When I open a new Word Document, it minimizes it to the task bar at bottom and when I go to maximize , it disappears to the left of the screen. What is wrong?

I open a new Microsoft Word Document and it immediately minimizes to the task bar at the bottom of the screen. When I go to maximize the document, it "disappears" immediately to the left going off the screen. I am having the same problems with emails when I try to forward or create new emails. They will not hold long enough for me to write on them - they disappear off the screen.

Although possibly not related to your problem, I have to remind you that the version of Firefox you are using at the moment has been discontinued and is no longer supported. On top of this, it has known unpatched bugs and security problems. I urge you to update to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum security, stability, performance and usability. You can get it for free, as always, at getfirefox.com.

How is that related to Firefox support?

I updated to the latest Firefox version 3.6 - I was thinking this had been done this past Sunday:( Thank you for the suggestion; however, the original problem still exists....HELP!

I would appreciate any assistance from anyone. I have "dabbled" (dork) with Tools - Options so don't know if I may have checked or unchecked, blocked or unblocked.....sigh:( Thanks:):)

Open the system menu via Alt+Space or right click the Firefox icon on the Taskbar and see if you can resize and move that window.
If that works then close Firefox to save that setting.
