Security Warning Pop Up Cannot Continue on to Page
Every time I try to log onto a specific site I get this error
"Although this page is encrypted, the information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and could easily be read by a third party.
Are you sure you want to continue sending this information?" I click OK/ Continue but it won't let me and the warning keeps popping up again and again. I've had no problems with this site before.
This happens in both Firefox and Safari.
I have a MacBook Pro.

Windows; Tools > Options Linux; Edit > Preferences Mac; application name > Preferences
Then Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.
Poke around safe web sites and see if there is still a problem. Then restart.

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use CtrlCommand+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
"3-bar" menu button > Preferences (or Options) > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
- right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
- Tools menu > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page and logging in again. Does that help?
Edit: Fixed Windows keyboard shortcut to Mac.

Hi druston, if the problem returns after you exit out of safe mode and start Firefox normally again, the problem may be caused by one of your extensions.
You can review those and disable any nonessential or unrecognized ones on the Add-ons page. Either:
- Command+Shift+a
- "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions.
