If I use Thunderbird will I be able to have my messages in my computer
I have been using Juno for Eons, but I like the fact I download all of my messages from the Internet to my computer. But I'm having problems and am considering using Thunderbird, If I use Thunderbird will I be able to to download my messages to my computer? If so I'll have to download Thunderbird and figure out how to get all of my addresses and saved messages into Thunderbird.
Thanks for any advice you can give me, Uncle Dewey

Juno offers secure POP access, which means mail is downloaded to your computer. When you install TB, add an account from File/New/Existing Mail Account (press Alt if the Menu Bar with File is hidden), enter your Juno credentials, then click Manual config. if the setup wizard doesn't find these settings:
incoming POP server pop.juno.com on port 995, SSL/TLS security, authentication = normal password, User Name = email address; outgoing SMTP server smtp.juno.com on port 465, SSL/TLS security, authentication = normal password, User Name = email address.
