Why do I show version 3.6.6 vs 3.6.13
I installed a version of FireFox that stated it was 3.6.6.
I subsequently received notice that a newer version, 3.6.13 was available.
I checked your website and saw that 3.6.13 is your current version, so I installed the 3.6.13, but "About" still shows that I have 3.6.6 installed.
What version do I really have?

Did you do an update via (Help > Check for Updates) or did you download and install the Firefox 3.6.13 version?
Did you check that the installation finished properly and no User Account Control alerts prevented installing the new version?
You can try to download the full version and uninstall the 3.6.6 version before installing 3.6.13.
Look at your user agent as does it have rv:1.9.2.13 for gecko verion or does it say rv:1.9.2.6
If it says 'rv:1.9.2.13 then a Extension that adds something to useragent may have frozen it to Firefox 3.6.6 on end when that extension was installed.
To fix the useragent type about:config in location (address) bar Filter for general.useragent.extra.firefox right-click this preference and select Reset and go to "Help->About Firefox" to see that it should be Firefox/3.6.13 on end now.
Oh nevermind...

The user agent as listed in the More system details list shows a valid Firefox 3.6.6 user agent:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.6) Gecko/20100625 Firefox/3.6.6
I really dislike this Tiki forum software (bit better then used to be) compared to the much easier to get things done quickly with phpBB and vBulletin. If it was phpBB it would have probably been somewhere more directly in post instead.
Anyways one thought is perhaps you have both Firefox 3.6.13 and 3.6.6 installed and whatever method you are using to start Firefox is pointing to the .exe for 3.6.6 and not 3.6.13
Using about.config, I can see that general.useragent.extra.firefox is set to 3.6.6.
But I suddenly, I see my problem after reading through this thread.
I have been looking at the version number as having fixed digits. For example, 3.6.6 would be followed by either 3.6.61 or 3.6.7. So, I thought that 3.6.6 was actually newer than 3.6.13.
Problem solved. At least 1 problem. I still probably have mixed versions, but I can handle that with a clean install of 3.6.13.
And I appreciate all the responses that I received, so promptly. You guys are amazing and very helpful. This was my first time logging in and my first post. I might have to lurk around for awhile to see what else I can learn!
Thanks to all that responded!
