When displaying getting web sites from a search I used to get small Shield logo displayed to the right of each web address.

This shield was either:- - Red - unsafe site - Amber - warning - Green safe to open.

I'm sure that I set this up via Firefox but it no longer displays. If this was the case where do I find the etting to implement it?

That should have been added by an extension that check the web pages.
This could have been WOT (Web Of Trust) or something added by security software.

Did you ever reset Firefox as that will create a new profile and you lose installed extensions?

In that case you would have an "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop.

It is possible to recover data from the old profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem.

Hi

I've installed web of trust, this isn't what I had before but does the same job.

Thanks for your help.
