installation of battlefield 3 browser plugin doesn't seem to work but it is fine in Internet Explorer

Whenever Battlefield3 game's Battlelog browser plugin is highlighted to install because of a new version... it never installs right.. after every single install it keeps offering the same version of plugin to install..

It has been like that for me nearly a year...

I have already tried to deactivate / activate all sorts of plugins which seem to be involved in it but no luck at all... I have seen other people complaining about it as well..

Have you tried the Battlefield 3 fora?

After uninstalling Firefox latest one and reinstalling it did not improve anything but reinstalling the beta even more latest one sorted this issue...
