Other posts about how to change passwords give a link to: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Setting_and_changing_email_passwords

The linked page gives WRONG instructions. In Thunderbird 24.4.0, it's: Tools, Options, Security, Passwords, Saved Passwords

You have to say you want it to SHOW you the passwords, and then you can delete them. Once you actually check for mail, it will tell you the login failed, and then you have the option to enter a new password. WAY too complicated. Time to put the password, and the ability to change it, in the mail account options.

And your reporting this here why? MozillaZine is not Mozilla, it is a totally independent web site. I suggest you post something in their forums on the issue.
