FF58.0.2 Not replaceing 58.0.1 during install??
OK, tonight I did like what any users would do to update FF. I downloaded the offline installer for FF58.0.2x64 to replace my FF58.0.1x64 and thought just run and update right. Actually no it didn't do that instead it created a totally separate FF icon and control panel install. I know I checked and was like what the heck is going on wasn't it suppose to upgrade FF58.0.1 that's what I thought I clicked the right options. So what I had to do now was uninstall FF58.0.2 and then uninstall FF58.0.1 as well both not just one. Then I reinstalled offline downloaded FF58.0.2x64. But when I did this process I didn't delete or remove any folder or Addons I left those alone because from past experience deleting those would lead to loosing all the Addons and userchrome.css settings-so that is why I left everything else as is. Once I reinstalled FF58.0.2 and then ran the browser all my settings and Addons were still there because the Mozilla folders were still there. So if anyone is having duplicate FF or not working just uninstall FF58.0.1 only and then reinstall FF58.0.2 into the same location and that should keep everything that was there before but if you deleted the Mozilla folder or appdata\user folder then your going to have to rebuild FF from scratch again. So this is my experience doing this as to why it created to install of FF instead of just upgrading I am not sure. But if your upgrade then your good to go but if you had it happen like me then you want to definitely take caution here.

Which is to go the 3-bar menu => Options => General and under 'Firefox Updates' check the box of their choice .....
I always download the FF from the site rather then let it do a update from the Browser. I used to let it do that in the past but since FF50 I had issues so I went to do standalone Offline installer that prevent online update issues.
