I want to have sync'd bookmarks accross 2 PCs, an iPad and a Macbook Pro. This all works except that Firefox on the Mac asks me to sign in each day - I don't have to do that on the PCs or iPad.

You may be in Private Browsing mode, or told Firefox not to remember.

Type about:preferences#privacy<enter> in the address bar.

The button next to History, select Use Custom Settings.

Turn off Always use private browsing mode Turn on Remember my browsing and download history At the bottom of the page, turn on Clear History When Firefox Closes. At the far right, press the Settings button. Turn on ONLY Cache and Form And Search History leaving the others off.

Shut down sync. Fix the problem on all your systems. After everything is fixed, turn sync back on.

Are you using a master password on all devices?

The Sync version used in Firefox 34+ releases uses the password manager to store the authentication data that is used to connect to the Sync server. When Firefox is started you need to enter the master password to be able to connect to Sync.
