You search for a word using Control+F like any other program. It's highlighted on the page if it's there. Or you would think so. But no. Why does Firefox so often say it found a word when you can clearly see it's not there on the page? Nothing is highlighted. It even gives you the number of results on the Find bar. Some may be there but others are not. This has been like this for years. Why?

I should have mentioned that I have "Highlight all" checked as well as "Whole Words". It must be finding hidden words. Of course that doesn't really help us. It actually totally wastes our time as we can for things that aren't even there. Hey Mozilla, wake up! Fix this! Basic things that don't work make you look incompetent.
