what is the purpose of the "thumbnail" screen? Why do I need to click view to get a full screen?

With FireFox, sometimes when I right click, rather than getting a full screen, I get an extremely small screen, then to get a full screen I have to click on view to select full screen.

Hi RossLeon, where are you right-clicking? For example:

  • On the Windows Start menu, desktop, taskbar, or somewhere else outside of Firefox
  • On Firefox's built-in home page or new tab page
  • On a website (which website has this issue?)
  • Somewhere else in Firefox

Try to rename/remove xulstore.json and if present delete localstore.rdf in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.

(sorry for the confusion)
