How do I prevent Firefox 4.0.1 from printing the URL on every page. I get a blank page generated before the actual page prints due to the URL being printed first.

  1. Right click a blank part of the Tab bar and click "Menu bar" to reinstate the text links at the top.

  2. Then click File | Page Setup.

  3. Click the Margins, Header & Footers tab.

  4. In the Headers & Footers menu, change URL to "Blank". See Screenshot.

  5. Repeat step 1. to revert to the previous layout.

I'm a Windows user and in that OS, you can press the ALT key to toggle the text links on and off, but I don't know if that works in a MAC.

Thanks for the info. The first step that's mentioned: right clicking the tab bar and then click "Menu Bar", doesn't show up in my version of Fire Fox. I'm using version 4.0.1 on a Mac. So, I couldn't try the rest of it. Unless I'm missing something.

Any data about doing this on a Mac?

Thanks.

If you right click the Home button, you should see the same menu as we see by right clicking the Tab bar on Windows.

The link might be called "Print menu" like you see in this screenshot MAC Print menu IN there, the setting is in the Page Headers menu.
