I've already gone to content and added them, but I still see little boxes with #s in them instead the characters. I frequent many sites with English and Japanese, Korean, and Taiwanese text and have not had a problem until downloading 7.0.1. I don't recall ever having to set a language in FF before. However, I've been using FF since the beginning and if I set back then, I've surely forgotten.

It might be a configuration on your computer causing it. Remove the language through control panel and add it back again.
