I'm trying to add an existing account via manual configuration, but I'm getting the message: Thunderbird failed to find the settings to your email account.

For Incoming, I'm supposed to use the following: IMAP Server hostname: [domain name] Port: 143 SSL: SSL/TLS Authentication: Normal password

But every time I hit SSL/TLS, my Port changes to 993 automatically. When I go back to change Port to 143, my SSL changes to Autodetect, and same thing happens with Authentication. How can I set it up without changes happening automatically?

Port 143 is the standard IMAP port with no security. IMAP with SSL/TLS uses port 993. Check again with your email provider about the correct settings.
