I have one laptop that I can cut & paste my Thunderbird emails into Outlook, and when I click on them in Outlook they show up in the preview pane. But the work computer I am setting up with Outlook will not do that. When I click on the cut & pasted emails, it says "This file cannot be previewed because there is no previewer for it".

I cannot seem to find a previewer add-on for this, or what setting I need to tweak.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Try this: In Thunderbird, save email(s) as .eml file to a suitable folder on Desktop or usb. Set up computer default to open .eml files using Outlook. https://www.msoutlook.info/question/354

To save as .eml: Right click on email and use 'Save as' option.
