Some of the entries in the bookmark tool bar have icons associated with them. Do they come from the website referenced in the location part of the properties of the entry? I want to know why some sites hav icons and others don't.

thanks ironmonger

hello ironmonger, yes firefox fetches those "favicons" from the websites in question, when they have provided an icon in their source code: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Favicon
