hello, popups may be a sign of malicious software active on your pc. please try these steps:

  1. reset firefox (this will keep your bookmarks and passwords)
  2. afterwards go to firefox > addons > extensions and in case there are still extensions listed there, disable them.
  3. run a full scan of your system with different security tools like the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner to make sure that adware isn't present in other places of your system as well.
  4. update your plugins (some of them are out-dated & have security vulnerabilities that are actively exploited on the web).

i am not a wizard i don't know how to reset firefox

that's why i've included the links in my prior replies. please click on the blue colored pieces, which will contain more information on the subject!

If your email notifications do not contains links, or the links are disabled by your email site/software, you'll need to come back to the forum to click them.

This is more likely an issue with malware, so best is to first check that if you do not see suspicious extensions in Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.
