I love Firefox browser on my desktop computer, and its the only browser I Will use or ever use on it.

so when I got my kindle fire second edition I was hoping with all hope that I could ditch silk and be able to use Firefox on it.

WILL FIREFOX every be able to run on kindle fire? I know that their is firefox sync for kindle so why can't the browser itself be Kindleized?

Please Please Please give us firefox fans a version of Firefox for Kindle!

Firefox will run on the kindle Fire, but not through the store, you will have to side-load it onto your device.

You can download the Auora build of Firefox at http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/mobile/aurora/

It does not require root. Basic instructions at http://www.zdnet.com/blog/mobile-gadgeteer/download-non-amazon-approved-apps-on-your-kindle-fire/5368
