Firefox automatically installs into my program files and will not let me change that. I have a permanent ram disk. I think that Firefox would run faster if I installed it on the ram disk.

Chosen solution

That most likely won't make any noticeable different because Firefox loads the program files in memory after loading and the profile folder with all personal data is located elsewhere.
It is usually writes that cause the most delays especially if anti-virus software is checking each write.
