I have used Firefox for many years and NEVER been faced with the problem I am having. I am running Snow Leopard and none of the pull down menus WILL open???????? I can not close Firefox, use File, Edit, View, History and so on, they will not work.??? The only way I can close Firefox is to "Force Quit" the application.

Hi lance1-

Try starting Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
