The web site that the company I work for uses Oracle/PeopleSoft so we can get out schedule, hours worked, pay, etc. When I log in using FirFox I get this "Logon failed as the language you have selected is not enabled for this database." I have never selected any language for this. So I have to go to IE (which I had) to get my schedule. Any idea how I can change this?

That's pretty strange... Could you check a setting in Firefox's about:config preferences editor?

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.

(2) In the filter box, type or paste lang and pause while the list is filtered

(3) For intl.accept_languages you probably need en and/or en-US on the list. If you don't see those, you could try to edit this value. If it's bold, meaning it has been changed from the default, right-click and choose Reset.

If that setting already is correct, I wonder whether a filter is blocking it? That could be a feature of a privacy or security add-on.
