Firefox is my Default Browswer and I have always used Firefox to connect to Vodafone.co.uk, to access my account. Recently I have been presented with Untrusted Connection Warnings and prompted to Add Exception.

I have tried Safari and IE to access my Vodafone account, both work without Untrusted Connection Warnings.

I have reported this to Vodafone Technical Help but they are unaware of any problem, although I am aware of several changes to their Site.

Is this a Mozilla or Vodafone problem and 'what can be done about it'  ??

Peter

The Vodafone server don't send the required intermediate certificates to build a certificate chain that ends with a built-in root certificate.

  • Vodafone (Corporate Services 2009)
  • Vodafone (Corporate Domain 2009)

It looks that Vodafone has fixed this on their server, so it should be working now (check the above posted link).

In case you made a permanent exception then you can remove this exception in the Certificate Manager.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Certificates/Encryption: View Certificates > Servers
