what is the folder uncertain???
i used to love thunderbird, but now i am frustrated with the program... new things happen and i don't know what to do about them....
first of all, a new folder showed up called uncertain....what is this? and most of my inbox mail is in it....not junk
and for the last few months, yes months, i have been invaded with spam and junk....and much of my email is showing up in my junk folder but not labelled junk, and it used to arrive in my inbox
can someone help me please

got an anti spam tool with your anti virus program? Nortons and Trend in particular make a mess of things and the their junk filter is best turned off. But none of the anti virus junk filters is very good is my understanding of it.
The JunQuilla add-on creates an uncertain folder. Have yo installed that?
I think you seriously need to state what you have done to limit your spam. I think it is to the point your lost and it is running the show,.

hi matt, i have a mac, so no antivirus except for my parallel windows section. never heard of trend.
turned off training and ticked all of my address book options......will see how this works
went into my addons, and removed junquilla, do not know how that came about....thanks for this....will try using thunderbird again, but have moved stuff over to mac mail.....i kinda like it now
my mac laptop has tb, and it is behaving itself
