Since release of version 63.0.3 some obvious spam mails have gone to my inbox rather than "Junk". T/Bird notes them as "Spam" but why are they going to "Inbox"? Also how can I get them to go automatically to "Junk"?

I think it is unlikely that Thunderbird is responsible for any process or categorization that uses the term "spam". Thunderbird uses "junk" for suspicious emails.

If a message is labelled "spam" then something outside Thunderbird is most probably doing it. And that something else will be responsible for where they are put. The Inbox is a reasonable location, especially for POP users who won't see any folders other than the Inbox.

Sorry I have mislead you & the Community. These messages which are "Junk" & have been labelled as such by T/Bird have gone into my "Inbox". Why did they go to the Inbox & not to "Bulk Mail" where items such as this have gone before version 63.0.3 However I accept that most "Junk" items are still going to the "Bulk Mail" Folder
