Hello jk6672,
probably your pc infected from malware. Try to remove any toolbar that you have not install from your firefox extensions (firefox button > addons > extensions)
check also control panel > add or remove programs, remove any program not installed by you.

thank you
Check whether you enabled Pop-up blocker or not
Try this Addon too
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

Thanks for the tips. It was a brand new Dell computer and I had McAfee Total Protection installed and I was under the impression that was all I needed. Well I was wrong. I installed the Malwarebytes and I had over a 1000 hits of malware. I wonder if it comes from Dell that way or as soon as I hardwire into the internet I'm attacked. Either way, the Malwarebytes pro fixed the problem I was having. Thanks again.
