I have Firefox 25.0.1 . I have no problem highlighting so I can copy some things, but I can't even highlight others. But I can in Mexplorer!?! help?
I tried the old fix posted by jscher2000 about "To try to block sites from interfering with the copy action, you can switch a setting under the covers." and followed his directions re the "about:config" and switched the dom.event.clipboardevents.enabled to false. No luck (Not surprised since that seemed rooted in a different issue). So, I changed it back.
Selecting all and then copying still yeilds the same results in that the text does not transfer (text and other things around the desired text does though). (All though it still does not copy, it oddly shows as highlighted at least.)
I used to be able to highlight/copy all from this site with Firefox. Annoyingly I still can copy the desired text on Microsoft Explorer (but I prefer using Firefox!).
(P.S. I have AVG Security 2014 and AVGPC TuneUp but that does not interfere with MExplorer and disabling does not seem to help).

Some sites use a custom style rule to block selection. For example, a rule on fanfiction.net was described in this post from last month: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/960726#answer-489703
However, since you can select, it sounds as though the site might be using frames, and you are only getting the outer page not the contents of the frame. ??
Do you want to post the address of the problem page for review? (assuming one doesn't need an account to see it)

Thank you for your help!
(I hope all of these work-arounds won't be required in future versions of Firefox though, or at least that there will be good add-ons developed)
