Do you have a backup? If not . . . . . .
No back up-whats the point of using sync if I have to manually back up my bookmarks everyday? I used to get a key code but they changed that-going forward is there not an easy way to auto backup bookmarks and saved passwords?
Do you have a sync account? I've called the big guys to help you. Good luck.
Just connect to Sync on that new computer as an additional device using "Already have an account? Sign in." See this support article - How do I set up Sync on my computer?
Note that Sync isn't meant to be used as a backup device, but merely to sync data between multiple devices. So it is not guaranteed that you can restore data from the Sync server.
Note that is you do not remember the password for the Firefox Sync account and request a new password that this will wipe all data stored on the Sync server and you won't be able to retrieve your data.
Best is to backup your personal data locally to be sure to be able to recover from issues.
I did not request a new password-is there anyway to see if my bookmarks and saved passwords are still on the sync server?
Were you able to Sign In? If so, your data should have sync'd to that new device.
There is no way of viewing your Sync data on the Sync server.
