Firefox needs to get with the program and make Firefox work in 4K Ulta HD screens. The use of the + and - does nothing for games, applications, etc. It only works on Webpages. I have had to abonden Firefox because of a new laptop that has 4K Ultra HD at a resoulution of 3640 x 2160. And no, I cannot change the resolution down so I don't even want this as a suggestion.

Pages that use Flash?

There is a known problem with the Flash plugin display not scaling appropriately on higher-than-full-HD displays. Reports go back at least as far as January 2014 (https://support.mozilla.org/questions/982635). I have investigated various hacks since then but never found a solution (e.g., https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1101233).
