When I close Firefox 3.6.13, my downloads stops, even if dl manager is open
In earlier versions, when I close ff while dl something, dl manager opens automatically continuing to dl. Now, dl stops at once when I close ff

You can set the pref browser.download.manager.quitBehavior to 2 on the about:config page.
That will make Firefox ask for confirmation if you want to cancel the download if you close Firefox.
