Updated to FF8 from 3.x and crashes are more frequent. FF worked fine last night, but today it is crashing constantly. I've disabled all add-ons and even tried safe mode. Still problems. My OS is Windows 7. I have TrendMicro Internet Security and do virus scans regularly. I also had the TrendMicro web protection thingy installed to scan web pages I visited. I've had it installed for almost a month, and it has never caused any problems.

your Crash Report:-https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/0ef0d778-5916-4680-b901-91b012111126 Related Bug:-https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=647366 Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

I started up FF, for the first time today, to create a new profile and it immediately crashed. The second time, I got it to not crash long enough for me to create a new profile. It was working alright for a few minutes, and then it crashed again.

Then, I disabled ALL my extensions and add-ons. Still crashed.

Guess it's not my profile. I was hoping that was the issue...
