I have Firefox, but when I click on the icon to start FF, it immediately shoots off to the right of the screen, making it unusable. Can't click on anything except the icon to open it or close it. Tried reinstalling, get a message that settings is unable to open. I like Firefox, help! The icon does have the little yellow and blue shield on it.

Try to open the system menu via Alt+Space and see if you can move the window into view with the cursor keys and resize the window.

You can also check for problems caused by a corrupted localstore.rdf file.
