Suddenly today Firefox will not open links in my emails. They open in another browser I normally never use. I have used Firefox for years with no problem.
Today when I clicked on a link in two separate emails neither would open. I run W10. Until today Firefox has worked seamlessly for years. I have installed Firefox again which has not solved the problem. I opened IE and the two links opened in that browser. I would prefer not to have to change browsers but I do need to be able to open links . Has this happened to anyone else?

this happened to me too. i'm only having problems with hotmail and firefox. using a different email service the links work fine.
i posted a thread about this too. i hope we get news of a fix b/c this is a pain.
This is odd. My problem is with gmail (two different addresses) and Firefox. The link to reply to you did not work of course so I forwarded your reply together with one of the emails I mentioned originally to my Hotmail address (still using Firefox) and they opened! They will not open in gmail/Firefox still.
What kinda links are they?
'If you want to respond to them, please click here. ' in the email forwarding your question. To open I had to forward the email from gmail to a different email address where it worked. I only have this problem with Firefox. No problem in Safari on an iPad or on android.
also a link to preview a new Jacquie Lawson card. etc.
Until I posted I did not have any problems with identical links. Thanks for your interest.
PS when I clicked on this 'click here' link in the forewarded email it worked again but the Jacquie Lawson link did not. I have found that if I right click on these links and tell them to open in a new window they will do so. This helps and may help others for the time being but I would like to resolve the problem and go back to just touching the link.
Since the last Firefox update the links are opening again as normal. I hope Loretha's emails are sorted too(?).
